AFFORDABLE CLASSES FOR YOUTH AGES 5-8, 9-18, AND EVENING ADULT CLASSES IN CERAMICS/PAINTING AND PHOTOGRAPHY/PRINTMAKING

The Bronx River Art Center (BRAC), located in the heart of the Bronx at 1087 East Tremont Avenue (near Boston Rd. @ West Farms Square) announces our Summer 2009 session of subsidized art classes for youth and teens ages 5-18 and adults. BRAC is a community-based art center, with a mission is to provide art education and promote environmental awareness for Bronx residents. Both youth and adults are encouraged to explore their creative talents in a thriving multi-cultural environment, lead by our staff of professional teaching artists. Students can choose from a wide variety of classes in both Fine Arts and Digital Media.

In this current economic climate, we have kept our fees low so that our classes are affordable for as many families as possible.
Fees for classes: $55/youth, $100/Adult, and $125 Parent/Child classes (one parent, one child - $25 for each additional child)

BRAC also offers fee-based workshops for community groups. Our Education Department can work with your group to design specialized workshops and gallery tours. Please call 718-589-5819 for group rates.
