We are looking for films for the festival held in 8. - 13.3.2010. Deadline 15.11.2009

The international kids’ and youngsters’ film event, Videotivoli, takes place for the seventh time in the spring of 2010, 8-13 March, in Tampere. At the same time, the Nordic and Baltic Kids for Kids competition is held for the third time.

Videotivoli

We are on the lookout for films lasting less than 10 minutes, made by people under 16 years of age. The subjects and styles of the films are free: they can be animation, live action, documentaries, music videos or art. They can also be funny sketches, lovely fairy stories, thoughts on youth, comments on the plights of the world, or anything that one has always wanted to share with other people.

Videotivoli is from kids to kids and from youngsters to youngsters, but it also presents various organisations to other ones in the field. Videotivoli offers its young artists a chance to show their work. It’s also an opportunity to meet others, to talk and attend practical media education.

The films must be sent to us by 15th November, 2009. You will find more detailed instructions and the festival rules in further pages. There you can also fill in the entry form and send it with your video to us.

Videotivoli is organised by the Pirkanmaa Film Centre, greatly helped by the Tampere Film Festival. Both the young participants and the adult participants are welcome to enjoy the extensive offerings of the festival.
