: Travel Stipends Available for NAMAC Conference
NAMAC's 2009 conference is shaping up to be an extraordinary event. In this time of flux and shift, NAMAC's biennial conference is a critical opportunity for arts and media groups to convene, connect, strategize, and plot radically new approaches for sustaining our organizations and building our field.
Travel Stipends Are Now Available for NAMAC Members:
This event convenes at such a critical juncture, we want you all to be there for the Big Think. Great news: We've secured funding from the NEA to offer stipends to offset costs for NAMAC members to travel to Boston for Commonwealth. Support can be used only for travel costs or hotel support for the Park Plaza Hotel.
To apply for funding, please visit our web site to download a brief application. Eighty travel stipends up to $250 each will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis, with priority given to organizations with budgets under $500,000. Limit of one stipend per organization; available to NAMAC members only. Notification of stipends will be on Friday, July 17, 2009.
