My Listen Up!

Deadline: 14 April 2010

We are writing to ask your help on one of NAMAC's major projects: Mapping the Media Arts Field. In this current phase of the project, NAMAC is collecting data from you for the most comprehensive scan of the field to date. With your help, we plan to establish a baseline of activity in the field that both encompasses and details our cultural, economic, community and network indicators and assets.

Here is a link to the survey: http://www.surveymonkey.com/s.aspx?sm=bB0NhuZWntepwRDYUSm1FQ_3d_3d

This link is uniquely tied to this survey and your email address. Please do not forward this message. If there is someone else in your organization who should receive this survey instead, please contact Jack Walsh at jack@namac.org. We will see that it gets to the person you designate.

The survey will take 30 minutes to complete. By participating in this major field-wide undertaking, you will be contributing to a major empirical data study. You will have access to the results, and you will be able to compare your organization with others across the nation.

We will be collecting data for the next six months, concluding in April 2010. We anticipate sharing our preliminary findings with you by the end of May. For your participation, once the complete data is published, you will have free access to it for research, proposals, and strengthening your arguments for the value of the work we do.

We appreciate you taking the time to complete the Mapping the Field survey.

From all of us here at NAMAC, thank you!

Jack Walsh and Helen DeMichiel
Co-Directors
