Listen Up! collects information volunteered by visitors, such as information collected when downloading or requesting publications, visiting the Listen Up! website, signing up for email notifications and information collected when contacting us for more information about our work. Information Listen Up! collects includes personally identifiable information (for example, name, address, and email), information about organizational affiliation, and information about your interests. No personably identifiable information is collected about individuals without their knowledge. Listen Up! also collects aggregate information about website use, without personably identifiable information, identifying personal information, such as what pages and sections are most popular with users.

Listen Up!'s member section and newsletter system requires a password to access the membership and subscription management pages. For the convenience of users, Listen Up! offers the opportunity to be "remembered," by the system so a password is only required on the first access. Asking to be "remembered" by clicking the "remember me" or similar dialog box when asked places a permanent cookie on the user's machine. Listen Up!'s system never places a permanent cookie on the users machine unless a user specifically makes this request.
