In December 2000 we held our first weekend workshop "Making the Media Work for Youth." Over 140 youth, adult mentors and professional filmmakers attended. On May 6-8, 2005 we held the third weekend workshop: “Ahead of the Curve,” Our workshops help us build a stronger youth media network. They’re also intended to help youth filmmakers tell better stories. We know youth have powerful stories to tell...our workshops help them do it better. |

In 2002 we held our second workshop "reDefining Media, Finding Your Voice." About 100 people participated in technical workshops to improve production skills and facilitated discussions about youth media. |
