What happens when 100 youth filmmakers, educators and professional filmmakers from across the USA converge on a sleepy Connecticut town for 48 hours?  You get 16 panel discussions & workshops, 12 screenings, the production of 28 short films, and almost zero hours of sleep.  In short, you get one of the most memorable, action-packed weekends in filmmaking ever!

In May 2005 Listen Up! held the “Ahead of the Curve” Weekend Workshop.  Our goal was to help youth filmmakers tell stronger stories and provide their mentors with networking opportunities and discussions that strengthen their programs.
