Yo the deadline is like now. Ok I want to clarify that the movie was understood even with no dialogue, the actors were amazing, the music and sound fit well, Overall it's a interesting film, by interesting I mean it made me wonder about blind people and deaf people, a side I never have never seen in a movie. Sorry for the last minute, but this movie is really cool, besos to the director. I love it

I thought the movie was cool plus great cause there was no talking and I still got the story. The sound affects were weird at first but I started getting into it as it went along, I mean this poor guy gained new kind power, learning to hear what he hear. I don't know if I got the ending right, but what I think it's really cool about this particular film, is that the director has created a story that is open to interpretation it seems. He has his message, but he wants people to take what they want from the film, kinda like star wars, OK, not saying it's star wars, but it trying to do the same thing, that's why it rocks.

Just to keep it simple, I believe this short is the most interesting, a blindman that I guess isn't really blind helping a deaf man during his abnormal situation. Two perfect characters on screen, I also can tell this story was very well written, since no one is talking, the director had to get every detail in the script right for the audiance to understand, and I understood, that's what matters

I love the story. My friend told me it was good and I have to agree. The movie from begining to end was clear to me. I can tell the director had a hard time making this movie, so hard to tell a story with no words. The acting and the sound it was made this film great. I watch a lot of films and this short has a unique story and original, that's why I love it, movies make people feel all kinds of ways. And this one made me feel sad for the characters, but happy at the end.

This film is amazing. We see the story through the eyes of the hearing impeared teen, what he goes through, I even know how he was feeling in the begining of the movie and the end of the movie. With no words I understood it well. the music was telling us the mood, adn the sounds were building up the tension. the blind man had some humor to him too. Overall this short is very original and it's soo good.

I read the reviews, don't mean to repeat what they said, but I completely agree that this film is original, haven't seen anything like it before. I love the music cause it fit perfect with the characters. But a hearing impeared teenager as your main character, it what really makes this film unique. Hearing impeared and deaf people would love this movie, cause it's story that's never been told before. Good Job cause it's very Special!!!!!!

Bueno, Bueno. That means really good. I thought this film had a cool and original story. very well told, we see what that characters go through and who they are. I like the idea of a blind man and a hearing impaired man can help each other and become friends in the process, That's why the movie's original. Damn good job

This film was sad and cute at the same time. I like the blindman just trying to get some change. The deaf teen experiences something new, and the only person that was willing to help him was the blindman, very touching story, but out there too. The deaf person was hearing all kinds of things, like his heartbeat and the clock which was cool. The music and camera shot's were good too. I luv it

Never seen anything like it before, no words, yet the story was amazing. I'm glad my friend showed my this film. The locations fit perfect with the film and the director used it to better make his story, cause the music went along with the locations. I feel the blindman though was confusing at the end, my friend said he wasn't blind at all, didn't get that.

This short lenght movie was great. I see the directors vision, since it doesn't have any words. The blind man, that dude was so funny it's not even funny. He was buggin the hearing impered guy, but really tried to help him, this is a stiry that shows the people who help you the most are people like you, even though he wasn't really blind, which was great. I just think it's just cool

Showing love to CAN YOU HEAR?, all theres is to know is that it's original, the story of a hearing impeared teen gaining his hearing back, then you have a blindman helping him deal with it, then the blindman is not even BLIND. I love this short, it is funny, moving, and understandable even with no talking. This is a film to watch.

The film is crazy, I like the way the hearing impreared guy had to test out the hearing, kinda like training himself. WOW, it showed me how to look at deaf people different and blind people. Plus I never seen a deaf person as the main character in a movie too, really cool

This short film shows the best way to tall a story. Using pictures and images without any words spoken. Talking is boring, this film had a interesting story, characters, and sound effects. Pretty good and something to watch with a small buckett of popcorn. Keep it up.

This film was great. I thought the story was good. The sound was good. The film shows a lot of karma, that's why it stands out to me. We should treat people the same and not differently. This is one of the best ways to show it, have a blindman and a deaf man. I'll keep saying it, this film STANDS OUT, and the director should be praised for his vision and message.

I like this one alot. I feel the chracters were well developed and cast. The plot twist was interesting, they guy getting his hearing back and dealing with it, original situation. Plus I understood the story, story telling is more visual in this film, since their no talking. It was really well done to the point were I thought the hearing impeared teen was going rip his ears off, the sound was bothering me too.

This short is so cool, Once I heard the deadline was extended, I had to so my support. OK first, the story is new, hearing imperaed teenager getting his hearing back and actually dealing with it. Second I think the sound was so key to the film. See this film with head phones, you will hear so many sounds of everyday life, birds, bikes, kids playing, I mean it's cool. Last I think this film really stands out because I understood the movie perfectly with no talking, great example of using pictures and sound again, to tell a great story. I really like this director's style, just cool all around.

My sister told me to watch this film and I have to say it's really good. The jazz music was so cute, and it went with the blindman, I looked like a jazz musician. I loved the story, I think the deaf man was really convicing, I actually became him while I was watching the film. It's got me to see their pov, not alot of short films can do that, this short was like 5 minutes too, but it seemed like we know his character and makes us care about him. Which I did. I love this short, well done.

ORIGINAL, nough said. The story in this short was well developed and produced. You can tell with the music, great sound, and cool shots, like the 360* shot. I like also how this story included a blindman as well, who wasn't really blind, lol. I'm honestly saying as soon as I saw the hearing aid I was hooked into the movie, because I never seen the point of view of a deaf person before. It's new and definitely stands out. I hands down support this film, I love it and hope it gets acknowledge because it was really good. Later

Yo this was cool. As I was watching it I didn't knew what to expect, but at the end the message was clear to me. People take things for granted, something as normal as actually hearing. The characters were very well developed, the sound proved to be they key. I actually had a hearing impeared friend in junior high, and I'm glad there is a film that show's their perspective. I admire Jonathan Rodriguez for writting and directing this unique work, hope to see more from him.

This film is excellent. The pictures and sound told the story. I understood it with no talking. The POV it's being told from has never been told before. Hearing impeared people have their stories to tell, this film showed it in a interesting and original way. That's why this film to me stands out from the rest. job well done.

Short but effective. I understood the story. I really liked the park scene. I know I'm going to look at deaf people differently. Maybe they do feel different, we shouldn't rush to judge, just like the blind man didn't judge the teen and tried to help him. I like it a lot, it was so sweet and lovely.

I actually seen this film on Myspace, and when I saw that it was entered in VIP2007 I knew I had to support it. This short is very original. I liked the climax when the teen learns how to control his new gift, the gift of hearing, something people do take for granted. I love this film.

Concept was good, but sound clips were a bit off cue, and story was hard to understand. Why did he suddenly recover his hearing? Is that possible? Why did he turn on all the appliances? Small stuff like that.

It was alright, I thought at first that the deaf guy lost his hearing aid for payback for not giving some change but the direction it went made no sense at all. The blind man not being blind was weird. The location was good but the music reminded me of being in a elevator and was just waiting for the video to be over quick. Given that the video was confusing as hell, made no sense I kinda like it because it's different.

because of the way the sound is in the movie you feel as if your the character. you hear what he hears like when he first puts in his hearing aid. and you dont hear what he doesnt hear like when he gets bumped and looses his hearing aid. this movie shows that you can learn anything from anyone, in that part when he speaks with the blind man and tries to learn how to control his newfound hearing ablity. very creative.

I wonder how many deaf or hearing-impeared people would love this film? because the view of a deaf person has never been shown in film I think. I new idea which is always good. Interesting use of music and sound. The actors did a good job. The lighting was pretty good, plus the story was amazing. the deaf guy learns how to deal with his new power, the blind man kind of guides him, plus it was funny when after all that time of feeling sorry for the blind man, he wasn't really blind. I also like the beginning of the film, the deaf guy jogging thru the park, which was a beautiful location. and the introduction of the blind man, the quarter was kinda of a symbol in the film since we saw it a couple of times. Good film.

Yo, this film just rocks. I luv the director's choice for actors, their performances ere the key to the film. Blindman was just funny, I really felt bad for the deaf guy, I started to care about him more and more as the film went along. Sound affects were great. The heartbeat was my favorite. I luv the ending, the quarter, the blindman wasn't really blind, plus the last shot of the looking at each other, that was a good way to end the film. Plus the idea of this film is new. What would happen if I deaf person regained his hearing. I looked foward to more works of this director, he tries new things. Just a great job

WOW, this was amazing. If you can tell a story clearly, with no dialogue than your a real filmmaker. Not only that it was a great story. This guy couldn't hear, he gets his hearing back, and it's not what he expected, brilliant. The blind man was great, very funny. He also was a symbol of guidance to the guy learning how to deal with the hearing, plus I loved the ending he wasn't really blind. Seriously I never seen a story like this before, with a little work it can be a great feature if the director jonathan rodriguez chooses. The sound fit well, the music jazz fit perfect with the blindman. So far this is the best film in this category.

I really enjoyed the movie. Watching the movie gave me an experience of what it is like to be death. People do not really pay attention to the little noise. Hearing is very is very important. I like the way at the ending everything fell into place. Doing good to others may do you good in the future.
