A good message of girl power is displayed in this film. But it seemed like there were too many stories to fit in.

Another great production that presents the teenage view of what's important.

Great work! I think the producers did a great job getting their message across using various styles in the piece. Really shows their skill and makes the video interesting the whole way through.

I am amazed at the creativity these girls put unto this video to represent and express what they believe is their true identity. The battle of the sexes in basketball made great use of cinematography, such as switching to a POV shot right before the climax to heighten the audience's anticipation. The concept of the fashion doll animation was brilliant because they made use of what is traditionally a popular young girl's hobby, playing dress-up with dolls, but they did it with a bit of a TWIST. The rest of the video effectively showed what girls expect from guys and what everyone else (especially parents) expect from girls. Playing with this idea of expectations in the film showcases how well aware girls are of their social surroundings. Plus, the dance party was a fun scene to watch with the flickering lights and the dancing girls all clumped together. Through this video, it is evident that young people, especially this group of middle school girls in Batimore, are truly innovative and intelligent.

This video is absolutely uplifting and very practical in reaching young ladies in Baltimore. There is a need, and this production has given these young ladies an opportunity to speak out about their dreams and passions -- something that is often overlooked or undermined in black inner cities. The ability to communicate our dreams and enroll others in the possibility is a big first step to reaching those dreams. This video has given these girls that opportunity. Excellent!
