I really like the concept of HUSH because it let you know that people could be going though anything you will never know.GREAT FILM LOVED IT!Keep up the good work.

Dezzel  |  October 20, 2008

This was nice for a producer thats only in his teens....keep it up...

Marques Jones  |  October 19, 2008

Wow! From high schoolers? They have a future in the movie industry!

Veronica  |  October 18, 2008

An impressive production by a talented team. They should feel very proud of their accomplishment.

Michael Gay  |  October 18, 2008

Another great film from CVCA. This one, more than many others, made me wish it had been a full-length film though. I wanted to delve into these characters some more.

K. Lewis  |  October 18, 2008

Very well-made -- direction, music, story, the whole package. This was a very impressive short!

Kurt V  |  October 17, 2008

Excellent story development; loved the photography and editing. Great acting. Compelling.

"Hush" is really well done for high school students. Good storyline, with a powerful message. Excellent!

LHiltonH  |  October 16, 2008

RIGHT ON TARGET!!! A highly valid and important piece. From start to end, the students did an awesome job.

LIZ COPELAND  |  October 16, 2008

Nakysha  |  October 16, 2008

'Hush' is a wonderfully produced film with both a great story and talented cast. This easily deserves five stars.

Gabe Chasnoff  |  October 12, 2008

Hush was a powerful movie. Issues such as struggling for literacy, teen pregnancy, and sexual abuse are immobilizing as young adults strive to become independent. The piano music in the film complemented the seriousness of these problems. I especially like the music and lyrics that went with the end credits.

An Inspiring Short Film.Very Creative. Edge Of Your Seat And This Film Will Leave You Crying If It Don't You Have No Heart.

Jarvon Carey  |  October 10, 2008

Very good and incrediable that high school students could come up with this peice of film in such ashort amount of time. This is 2 thumbs way up, can't wait to see more these next years later

The sinister nature of the movie coupled with what I thought were some downright silly moments made the movie for me. It also seemed true to what I remember high school to be like. Everyone dealing with their own problems but not everybody is open enough about them. ¡Kudos!

This is a great movie with an incredibly written script. Even though it is titled "Hush," the film shouts with meaning, symbolism, and imagery. It's hard to believe this film was created and produced by high school students.

agraciea  |  October 07, 2008

This is a nice movie. It shows how teens or as I should say students and how they going through life like there is nothing wrong but there is something they want to say; but they keep it on the "Hush". Yea, Glad to see Mr. Badesch keep up the movies because CVS need a Cinema major. The movie was shot so nice, you get to see the nice environment around CVS. Excellent job.

Ashley  |  October 05, 2008

Shows a true cultural part of Chicago

Jim Chang  |  October 05, 2008

Great movie. Incredibly well produced for high school students, and, in fact, for students and people of all ages. Well done :)

Jillian  |  October 04, 2008

Important message, nicely performed, and very skillful production techniques.

Dave Marzullo  |  October 04, 2008

This is an amazing story. I agree with the other comments about the impact this can have on any community, not just an urban setting. So many children live with so many bad things in their lives. This is very well written, acted and has great production values. It perfectly captures the lives of these students in a short amount of time and does it so well.

Middie  |  October 04, 2008

darling, really liked the singing adults

susan koca  |  October 02, 2008

This was a very well crafted piece. Well shot. Well acted. Well produced. Even though shot in an urban area the theme is universal. The same secrets are kept in little rural towns too! Great job.

bj hawkins  |  October 02, 2008

Hush delivers a powerful message that I'm sure will impact the community with facing difficulties and able to move forward in life in a positive manner.

I am an alumni of CVS Class of 1985, enjoyed being a part of the Drama class. I really enjoyed the message behind "Hush". It script was well written and I believe it can help those who are quiet about everyday life. My favorite part was at the end, all the students were walking in together. You can't see what they are dealing with in their personal lives. It looks as thought everyone is the same and may not have problems. Chances are, a large percentage of them do. I am now a Filmmaker, with my first project selected for Community Day at the ICE Theater. I would love to have an opportunity to work with my High School Media Department. Keep up the great work. Impressive production values, from photography to music; terrific acting, but most of all, great development and melding of the stories.

Steve Alexander  |  September 30, 2008

The actors did a great job of delivering a strong story. I felt that the characters could have been developed further to add emphasis to the dramatic effect trying to be achieved.

Abram Pineda Fischer  |  September 25, 2008

wow, you sure packed a lot of drama into a short film. this film would make for some great discussion in an advisory group or classroom.

BCAM TV  |  September 24, 2008

4/5 Struggled between 5 and 4 stars. I would have liked to have seen more development of possibly just two characters rather than a very small glimpse of so many stories. Seems like an excellent feeder project to a series of more concise films.

conan  |  September 24, 2008

Great job guys! CVS Worldwide!

BJH  |  September 24, 2008

This is a tremendous project. We are so proud of our students and what they've accomplished.

CVCA  |  September 23, 2008

OMG! I'm still emotional from watching this. What a fantastic story and great production values. Didn't this school do something in the last VIP??
