well done, mia! i'd love to see a longer version of this! i found those gentlemen charming and insightful, and i hope their shop stays open for a long time to come.

it's like the in the history books, how one thing is replaced by another. this film is a touching account of how true it is, and it is very well done

Nice job. Some of the interview segments are GREAT. The topic is really interesting in a strange and unexpected way.

There were some pretty sweet transitions in this. I also really liked the Intro.

At first one would think that the old guys that work in a typewriter store would spew arcane cliched proverbs that mirror their technological stagnation. However, the brilliant filmmaker is able to pull out real pieces of human understanding in a way that helps understand not just a typewriter, but the person behind the buttons and ribbon, and ultimately offers a reevaluation of communication, futility, and human existence.

I especially enjoyed the clean shots, the subtle undercurrent about what will be lost when the last typewiter and this business bites the dust, and the character development.

I liked the way the shots were arranged to support the story emerging from the interviews.
