Home . Screening Room . 2x2
This is an experiment of visuals and rhythm. Each instrumental part within the song entitled “2x2” is synched up with the song and represented by a visual movement, action or motion. Each part is represented in a different physical action, for instance the bass drum is represented by a gentlemen being hit over the head and the guitars are two gentlemen fist fighting. This is as much an experiment with visuals and rhythm as it is an experiment with instrumental relations.

Great use of humor. The techniques are really cool. Not to mention, Saluting The Rockies is a great band. Great work.

This video was visually stunning. I loved the "brady bunch" effect with the multiple screens of simultaneous action that happened to be perfectly synced with the music. Kudos and acolades

Very impressive. The editing was exceptional. I could see that song being approached in a very traditional music video manner by a major director. The used of the track and images was a great idea and made the video a more enjoyable experience. There was no real defined plot and I didnt think it needed one. The way the images worked with the track added a new layer to the song unlike most music video which take a step backward and simply place an artist in a environment which we would usually see them.

This video, looks like it took a while to make. the idea is cool, but if there was a story line with it, and it was shown as clips it would have been alot better

This video looks cool. but it was disappointing and didn't go anywhere. there was no storyline and i was looking for more and had higher expectations.

Very visually appealing!... I think you hit your experimental goals dead on. Great timing with all the separate clip, must have took forever to edit. Felt like it got a little repetitive and was hoping for a little change and maybe more focus on the band. I thought with such good music i would be able to see the talent behind the music. But all in all, very good and different.

For a person (hey, that's me) who thinks the last thing we need is more violence in the media, I LOVE this. Visually this piece is beautiful and interesting. The audio and video are synched up really well. I love the patterns made with the different boxes too. Great job!
